Outfit: Summer Simple

EN// Finally a new outfit online! I've had a little trouble having a photographer present on the days I had a good outfit... and with the hot hot weather, I really wasn't bothered wearing anything remotely worth shooting. Well enough with the excuses, here is a new super simple outfit that I was wearing today. Scored these jeans in the finale sale at Zara. I wasn't planning on buying another pair of printed jeans (I think I own like 20 pairs allready... not kiddin!) but they fit me perfectly. And they are high wasted, a feature of which I didn't own yet. I have always been hesitant to wearing high wasted jeans, since I thought it wouldn't fit perfectly since I have hips and all.... but it's not! It's like my first pair of jeans that don't crawl down whenever you try to bend over. I'm a fan! Well since I hurt my ankle again... (accident prone??) I have to wear comfy shoes, so my fake vans are perfect! Combined it all with a new linnen tee from zara. Another thing I own in large quantities: back tee's! I think a basic tee is one of the worlds best inventions!

NL// Eindelijk een nieuwe outfit post! Ik heb de afgelopen dagen niet altijd een fotograaf gehad wanneer ik eindelijk een leuke outfit aanhad; want met dat warme weer heb ik niet de moeite genomen om mezelf foto-waardig te kleden. Okay, genoeg gezeurd! Hier de simpele outfit die ik vandaag aanhad. Deze jeans heb ik de final sale van de zara gescoord! Ik was eigenlijk niet van plan om nog een geprinte jeans te kopen, daar ik volgens mij al 20 bedrukte jeans/broeken heb. Maar hij zit gewoon perfect en ik heb nog geen high-wasted jeans in mijn collectie. het even geduurd voor ik een high-wasted jeans wilde proberen daar ik gewoonweg heupen heb en ik altijd dacht dat dat niet samen ging met die hoge taille. Maar dat is helemaal niet zo... het is zelfs ontzetten prettig! Nu hoef ik helemaal geen rekening te houden wanneer ik buk ofzo: broek blijft prima zitten! Daar ik alweer geblesseerd ben (alweer ja....) zijn mijn zeer comfortabele nep-vans de ideale schoenen. Heerlijk gecombineerd met een simpele linnen tee en mijn outfit is af. Nog zoiets waar ik zeer veel exemplaren van heb: basic t-shirts! Ik ben echt van mening dat een basic tee een van s'werelds beste uitvindingen is!

Outfit: Lovely Whites

Spring has sprung! Finally! So I choose to celebrate that little fact with a white outfit. Almost white that is.
I enjoy the warmer weather, only hard part is what to wear to the office? Since it is still cold in the morning when I go to work. Layering up works well for me, but it's always a hassle. Not that I'm complaining do, I love the sun and this weather! Can't wait for the weekend, have some nice plans! But let's first get through this week...., it's a very busy week for me, so I'm a little off my game. And since my ankle has put me way out of running, I have to start all over with baby steps. Anyone keen to join me? Since I'm slacking big time now. Well, enjoy your week! And I'll promise to post a more cheerful story then.

Outfit: Dark Leopard

I just love dark colours! Another weekend outfit, totally my style. Wearing my new grey leopard pants. I'm so glad that the sun is finally returned, so now I can wear my quilted bomberjacket again. I totally love it. 

The weather forcasts are really good for the upcoming weekend, I can't wait! I have another day at the office a head of me. Yeah I'm one of those lucky bastards who's weekend starts on Thursday eve.

Outfit: Touch of Leopard

Finally an outfit with my lovely Leopard coat; it was such a steal, one of the very last items in the Zara sale that had in my local zara. Can't understand why they had racks full with this coat for 29 euro's! Since it used to be 149,- Well, I'm a very happy girl, since I wanted it from the first time I laid my eyes on this coat. And since winter is not over yet, it's a good addition to my wardrobe. I must admit that I haven't bought much lately; this cold is leaving me uninspired. Hope that will change soon!

Outfit: Leopard, Studs & Long Hair

 

 

My last outfit with my long hair; sounds like I have done something drastic? haha Well, it's not that drastic... but a little shorter. More on that later. I was wearing my new shoes! Love them! I also dug up my leopard blouse! Since this print is hanging in every store at the moment. I got this blouse years ago in Antwerp at the H&M for like 10 euros. Good investment ;).

Outfit: I'm a Geek

The readers who follow me on instagram (@amysfashionscrapbook) had already seen that this lovely Geek shirt was lying under my christmas tree! I had  such a blast, and got spoiled big time! I'm still meaning to do a christmas gift post; but as you may have noticed: my mind has been on other things then blogging! I finally have a vacatione from work, which means that I'm running around doing all the stuff I should have done in the past year. Like switch my health insurance before the bell tolls midnight on new years eve... work on my house. I even crawled under my house yesterday, I mean: this house ownership is getting some good dedication out of me. Yes, I know: I sound like a Geek at the moment, hence the shirt.
I have heaps of inspiration for new posts, just no time to make it all. Stay tuned though, I promise to make some of my idea's work!

Outfit: Dutch Summer

Oh God, this is not supposed to summer! I'm blown away by wind, wet from rain, and nearly freezing my ass off! I expected to wear shorts and flipflops by now. Anyhow: this is what I was wearing Saturday, perfect outfit for the terrible weather, guarded with an umbrella I went to town. Had coffee with my lovely friend, who I see to little of. In the afternoon the BF and me had to run some errands.

Outfit: Enjoying Amsterdam

Saturday BF and I enjoyed a lovely day in Amsterdam. We started the day with the Sample Sale of Zoe Karssen. It was really relaxed, hardley anyone there and all the famous shirts for fraction of the price. Big Score. More on that later this week. Afterwards we strolled around Amsterdam, had coffee & cheese cake, shopped at Waterlooplein, 9 straatjes et cetra. We enjoyed a big bowl of Chai Latte at Starbucks. In the early evening we enjoyed a lovely dinner (nope, didn't watch the game...) afterwards we visited the Anne Frank house, since the BF hadn't ever been there.
What did you do this weekend?

Well this was my outfit; I was kinda cold when we shot these pics. And my hair is one big mess; thank you Dutch weather!

The whole outfit. Wearing my new faded leopard jeans from H&M. Combined it with my suede jacket (as seen here) like this light look. Perfect for spring! Too bad that the weather is thinking otherwise atm.
