Outfit: Lavender Fields

EN// What a weekend we had! It was warm, sunny & hot! Loved it! More on my weekend later on this week!
This is what I was wearing Saturday eve to my brother's B-day BBQ. By the way: don't you just love the lavender field that is just outside of my house? Love to stroll around here (or run) it's so relaxing!
Now to the clothes: everything I'm wearing I found at the back of my wardrobe, love these instant ensembles of stuff I didn't even know I owned.

NL// Wow, wat een weekend hebben we net achter de rug: warm, zonnig & heet! Heerlijk! Meer over mijn weekend komt later deze week op de blog. Dit is wat ik zaterdagavond aan had naar t BBQ feestje ter ere van mijn broertjes verjaardag! By the way: wat vinden jullie van dit lavendel-veld dat serieus net achter mijn huis ligt? Ik vind het heerlijk om hier doorheen te wandelen, of te rennen natuurlijk. Zo chill. 
Nu mijn outfit. Alles wat ik aan heb vond ik ergens in mijn kast. Ik vind het heerlijk om outfits samen te stellen van items waarvan ik niet eens wist dat ik ze had!

Outfit: The first of Summer

The first of summer, although that's how that day felt! This is what I was wearing last Friday. I spend the day at the lake with my man. In the eve we had dinner at my parents house, 'cause we needed to go visit my grandad in the hospital with our family. Thank god he is alright by the way. I choose to wear something flowery and summery since there is a lot of unhappiness at the hospital (well, not in the baby-birth section.... but I wasn't visiting that department). 

The skirt I'm wearing was my best sale-buy last season. Curious what this sale season will bring!

Outfit: Last Friday Night

Finally, the first outfit post in days! As you can see in the pics I'm still under the weather (I look so tired and sleepy in the first pic). This is what I was wearing Friday night, an easy summerish outfit for a 7-courses dinner party at my friends house. I'm usually not a big fan on showing your bra underneath a top, but it was so hot and I actually liked it with this top from H&M trend. I don't know what it is, but for some reason I'm really into yellow these days! (see here & here) Paired it up with some grey jeans and my favorit pair of sandals.

What I Was Wearing: Lovely in Pink

 

What I was wearing yesterday.

The weather in the Netherlands is so good for this time of year;

we should've had this weather two months ago!

Here I am buying knits and looking for winterboots and jackets; while today after work I put a bikini on and worked on my tan....

But I'm not complaining!

Now I have a chance to wear more items from my summer wardrobe!

(which I couldn't wear during our "real" summer, because I had to wear thights and rainjackets....)

About this look: simple, clean and easy; I combine it with a blazer to wear it to work.

I love this top; the colour, fit and the material.

What I was wearing: in the woods

Yesterday was a sticky hot and rainy day;

So I went for a simple, light but grey outfit. To match the weather!

Wearing a tunic that I found in the back of my wardrobe; I should really have a better look at what I already have hanging in wardrobe. Expect more posts of little rediscoveries!

I almost forgot: This is my first outfit post with my ombre hair! Well in these pictures you can't see it at all! I have the highlights put in very high, but halfway my hair you can see the ombre effect. Use a flash in a photo and you only see the highlight's in my hair. Well; my hair is work in progess, the ombre will be more noticable over the next couple of weeks! Stay tuned!

Diary: Shopping Weekend

I had an amazing weekend! Full of friends, shopping, eating, shopping, drinking, shopping, my boyfriend, shopping, family and more shopping!
I want to share some of the great things that I bought this weekend (yes, some... there is much, much more)

So what are you looking at?

1) Lovely Maccaroons that I bought in a cute store called trick 'n treats in Utrecht

2) Little present I bought for my boyfriend at Loft in Utrecht

3) Found these sandals on sale at the Bijenkorf. I was looking for some nice footwear to bring on my trip to Greece next month.

4) Sasha was having a big clearance sale; so had to take these little booties home aswell

5) I was looking for a big chuncky bracelet like this for ages

6) Cute little handbag from New Look

7) The best sale find of this season! Totally loving this kimono from Zara; it's 100% silk!

8) Bought some books to take with me to Greece.

New Purchase

Today I'm going to show you one of my latest purchases (just one, I actually have bought quite alot lately...)

I bought these sandels at Pull 'n Bear; and even got an extra pair of laces in dark blue.

They are the perfect pair of cheap sandals to go with an effortless outfit; which I'm very into at the moment...
