This was my super casual outfit last Sunday when I enjoyed a relaxing day on the town. Wearing my new mirrored sunnies, they are such great  eye catchers. As a little bonus you can see the man behind the blogger: my photographer my sunnies on the 4th photo.

Dit was mijn super casual outfit afgelopen zondag, toen n heerlijke dag in stad doorbracht. Ik droeg mijn nieuwe gespiegelde zonnebril, het is zo'n statement piece. Als een extra bonus zie je in de 4de foto de man achter de blogger, mijn fotograaf in mijn zonnebril.

Outfit: Summer Simple

EN// Finally a new outfit online! I've had a little trouble having a photographer present on the days I had a good outfit... and with the hot hot weather, I really wasn't bothered wearing anything remotely worth shooting. Well enough with the excuses, here is a new super simple outfit that I was wearing today. Scored these jeans in the finale sale at Zara. I wasn't planning on buying another pair of printed jeans (I think I own like 20 pairs allready... not kiddin!) but they fit me perfectly. And they are high wasted, a feature of which I didn't own yet. I have always been hesitant to wearing high wasted jeans, since I thought it wouldn't fit perfectly since I have hips and all.... but it's not! It's like my first pair of jeans that don't crawl down whenever you try to bend over. I'm a fan! Well since I hurt my ankle again... (accident prone??) I have to wear comfy shoes, so my fake vans are perfect! Combined it all with a new linnen tee from zara. Another thing I own in large quantities: back tee's! I think a basic tee is one of the worlds best inventions!

NL// Eindelijk een nieuwe outfit post! Ik heb de afgelopen dagen niet altijd een fotograaf gehad wanneer ik eindelijk een leuke outfit aanhad; want met dat warme weer heb ik niet de moeite genomen om mezelf foto-waardig te kleden. Okay, genoeg gezeurd! Hier de simpele outfit die ik vandaag aanhad. Deze jeans heb ik de final sale van de zara gescoord! Ik was eigenlijk niet van plan om nog een geprinte jeans te kopen, daar ik volgens mij al 20 bedrukte jeans/broeken heb. Maar hij zit gewoon perfect en ik heb nog geen high-wasted jeans in mijn collectie. het even geduurd voor ik een high-wasted jeans wilde proberen daar ik gewoonweg heupen heb en ik altijd dacht dat dat niet samen ging met die hoge taille. Maar dat is helemaal niet zo... het is zelfs ontzetten prettig! Nu hoef ik helemaal geen rekening te houden wanneer ik buk ofzo: broek blijft prima zitten! Daar ik alweer geblesseerd ben (alweer ja....) zijn mijn zeer comfortabele nep-vans de ideale schoenen. Heerlijk gecombineerd met een simpele linnen tee en mijn outfit is af. Nog zoiets waar ik zeer veel exemplaren van heb: basic t-shirts! Ik ben echt van mening dat een basic tee een van s'werelds beste uitvindingen is!

Outfit: Lavender Fields

EN// What a weekend we had! It was warm, sunny & hot! Loved it! More on my weekend later on this week!
This is what I was wearing Saturday eve to my brother's B-day BBQ. By the way: don't you just love the lavender field that is just outside of my house? Love to stroll around here (or run) it's so relaxing!
Now to the clothes: everything I'm wearing I found at the back of my wardrobe, love these instant ensembles of stuff I didn't even know I owned.

NL// Wow, wat een weekend hebben we net achter de rug: warm, zonnig & heet! Heerlijk! Meer over mijn weekend komt later deze week op de blog. Dit is wat ik zaterdagavond aan had naar t BBQ feestje ter ere van mijn broertjes verjaardag! By the way: wat vinden jullie van dit lavendel-veld dat serieus net achter mijn huis ligt? Ik vind het heerlijk om hier doorheen te wandelen, of te rennen natuurlijk. Zo chill. 
Nu mijn outfit. Alles wat ik aan heb vond ik ergens in mijn kast. Ik vind het heerlijk om outfits samen te stellen van items waarvan ik niet eens wist dat ik ze had!

Outfit: A Casual Workday

Hello guys! Well I made it through festivalmonth, so I'm back in the blogging business. With that said it is so busy at my work I'm not sure if it's true what I'm saying now... well just wait and see shall we. The good news is my blog mailbox is empty! So if I didn't reply to you, please send it the mail again, I had to work my way through a lot of mails, so I could have gotten lost along the way.
Well this outfit is kind of a request of some of you guys: what I wear to the office. Well this is just a normal office look. I don't wear jeans when I have meetings, but on a normal day I love to dress down but always like to wear a jacket on top. These shoes are the best sale buy I got this season, they are perfect for workplace  and the light colour is perfect for summer.
By the way: needlessly to say, these photo's were taken a few weeks ago, when it wasn't that hot yet. On an office day like today (26 degrees!), I would wear a skirt of a light blouse.

Outfit: Off Duty

She's been on my blog before, and now she's back. My favorite pet in the whole wide world: Zipp.
I'm actually terrified of dogs, seriously! But because I have known her since she was a pup, this is different, she gets me. This is what I like to wear after a hot day at the office, when I'm just hanging around my house: sweat shorts and a tee. Super simple, nothing fancy.
Have you got nice plans for the weekend? I'm going to Bospop tomorrow! Can't wait to see Amy MacDonald perform. That'll be the last festival of my marathon... then I can finally spend my weekends blogging again (or cleaning my messy house...) But first: Bospop it is!

Outfit: Sporty in Black

I have packed my bags to go to the Rock Werchter festival, but I couldn't leave without showing you what I was wearing Saturday when I was out running errands: sporty in black. I love these wedge sneakers, so I wear them every chance I get. Also these old leather leggings, which are ripped on both knees (and yes...that happened cause they are so old) throw on an oversized sporty top and your good to go.

The next few days I'll be sleeping in a tent, wearing easy outfits, enjoying the music. The weather should be good, the line-up even better. I'll show you my adventures when I get back!

Outfit: Going Out

Something different! Yes I can wear something else then just sneakers, leggings and sweats. 

This is what I was wearing to celebrate the 35th wedding anniversary of my parents in law. 

I finnaly found the zara skort in black, knowing the popular white one was not for me. Combined with the cow-printed H&M trend top and strappy heels, I was good to go. What I love about the skort is that it has the elegance of a skirt, but you don't to think about how you sit 'cause it's still a short. No embarrassing moments! 

As we speak I'm getting ready for my first festival in the season: Best Kept Secret! The rain is pouring down... so gumboots it is...

Outfit: The first of Summer

The first of summer, although that's how that day felt! This is what I was wearing last Friday. I spend the day at the lake with my man. In the eve we had dinner at my parents house, 'cause we needed to go visit my grandad in the hospital with our family. Thank god he is alright by the way. I choose to wear something flowery and summery since there is a lot of unhappiness at the hospital (well, not in the baby-birth section.... but I wasn't visiting that department). 

The skirt I'm wearing was my best sale-buy last season. Curious what this sale season will bring!

Outfit: Lovely Whites

Spring has sprung! Finally! So I choose to celebrate that little fact with a white outfit. Almost white that is.
I enjoy the warmer weather, only hard part is what to wear to the office? Since it is still cold in the morning when I go to work. Layering up works well for me, but it's always a hassle. Not that I'm complaining do, I love the sun and this weather! Can't wait for the weekend, have some nice plans! But let's first get through this week...., it's a very busy week for me, so I'm a little off my game. And since my ankle has put me way out of running, I have to start all over with baby steps. I'm really turning this blog in a lifestyle blog... but I can't imagine stopping with outfit posts, I just enjoy that too much. Although it's a big hassle when you work full time and you always need daylight and a photographer.

Outfit: Slam Dunk

In love with my new kicks! My new Nike Dunk Sky High in crisp white! Combined it with my fav leather jacket and my new hoody. I used to wear these hoodies all the time... but for some reason I didn't bother buying new ones (the old ones shrunk aka I'm getting fat!) so I was wearing the BF's one for a while. Since I had some giftcards left from my birthday, I considered that a new hoody would be a good buy. Also threw in a new pair of leggings and a new weekend outfit has born!
I have received some comments, if I want to post some work-outfits. Well since I only take outfit photo's on the weekends, and I like my sneakers and leather jacket much more then my blazers and heels, it hasn't worked out yet. But I'll find some time over the next couple of weeks to show you some work outfits. Since I have bought some new items, it's a double win!

I really like how these pictures came out. When we shot these pics it was raining; stupid Dutch weather, something is really "off" at the moment! Usually we have sunshine in May. Now I'm on my couch with a blanket.
Well I had a great weekend, a wild ride full of party's and sleeping a lot (I'm defiantly getting too old to stay up all night and drinking too much...) but I also worked on some new more lifestyle related posts. Since you guys told me in my blog poll (here) that you guys didn't mind me boarding my horizon to more lifestyle and work-out posts, so I have been quite busy with that! See it on the blog soon!
