Outfit: Keep Calm and Carry on Shopping

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

EN// Keep calm and carry on shopping. It's the story of my life!
This was my super casual outfit last Sunday when I enjoyed a relaxing day on the town. Wearing my new mirrored sunnies, they are such great  eye catchers. As a little bonus you can see the man behind the blogger: my photographer my sunnies on the 4th photo.

NL// Keep calm and carry on shopping.

I'm wearing:
Striped top: H&M | Vintage leather shorts: Episode | Sneakers: Primark | Sunnies: H&M | Tote bag: Primark | Necklace: Fashionology.nl | Nailpolish: www.hema.nl |

Food: Frozen Yogurt

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

EN// Finally I was able to post these pictures... took me quite some time to figure out a new photo editing program. Still not happy with the end-result, but I couldn't keep you waiting any longer. A DIY on Frozen yogurt. I made these ice-blocks on a super hot day, but even with lower temperatures it's quite good!

You'll need:
0,5L yogurt
2 big table spoons of honey
Fruit of any sort you like (I used frozen berries)
ice-pop molds (I used one from Primark, cheap but hard to remove the popsicle)

step 1: Mix the yogurt with the honey
step 2: Put the fruit in your ice-pop molds.
step 3: Scoop the yogurt on the fruit into the molds
step 4: Make sure the yogurt fills all the gaps between the fruit... it took me some firm beatings of the molds on my table to achieve this...
step 5: Put the molds into your freezer for at least 3 hours.
step 6: Try removing the popsicle from the molds...& Enjoy!

Outfit: Summer Simple

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

EN// Finally a new outfit online! I've had a little trouble having a photographer present on the days I had a good outfit... and with the hot hot weather, I really wasn't bothered wearing anything remotely worth shooting. Well enough with the excuses, here is a new super simple outfit that I was wearing today. Scored these jeans in the finale sale at Zara. I wasn't planning on buying another pair of printed jeans (I think I own like 20 pairs allready... not kiddin!) but they fit me perfectly. And they are high wasted, a feature of which I didn't own yet. I have always been hesitant to wearing high wasted jeans, since I thought it wouldn't fit perfectly since I have hips and all.... but it's not! It's like my first pair of jeans that don't crawl down whenever you try to bend over. I'm a fan! Well since I hurt my ankle again... (accident prone??) I have to wear comfy shoes, so my fake vans are perfect! Combined it all with a new linnen tee from zara. Another thing I own in large quantities: back tee's! I think a basic tee is one of the worlds best inventions!

I'm wearing:
Printed Jeans: Zara | Tee: Zara | Sneakers: Primark | Sunnies: Ray-Ban | Necklace: Fashionology | Lipstick: Hema

Outfit: We're all Fake

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Hello world! Finally got a work-around on my photo storage; well not really a work-around, but a solution I guess. By the way does anyone of you have tips how I can make the width of my pictures (horizontal and vertical) the same with Picasa (my photo editor)??
Guess my shirt refers to myself, I'm a fake. Thinking I can manage all the blogging stuff by myself, but I actually need a lot of help in the technical department. Talking about blog help. Last weekend I had a lovely photoshoot with fellow-blogger Evelien from the Dutch photo-blog Fotografille . We had such a blast. Afterwards we spend like 3 hours drinking tea and eating cake. She gave me heaps of tips for my blog, I'm so grateful to have met a fellow-blogger in my own city who can give me insiders tips. Well Evelien, if my readers don't come up with a solution to my question, I'll be calling you. ;) The shoot will be online later this week, so you guys (and me especially) have to be patient. A sneak peak is on my instagram: @amysfashionscrapbook.

Back to the outfit; this is what I was wearing last week. I only had 3 days of work and we had loads of sun. So hello: shorts! Too bad that the work week has started again; and the rain had returned!

I'm wearing:
Tee: Zoe Karssen | Shorts: H&M | Slippers: Primark

Outfit: The Semi-Festival

IMG_0416

IMG_0414 IMG_0425

Last Sunday I went to the first festival of festivalseason. Well, it was a semi-festival, since it was inside and just one (long) evening. It was "here is your future #2" at 013 in my hometown.
This is what I was wearing; just a simple festival outfit. I tend to wear cheap clothes to festivals, so it doesn't matter if you get beer or food on your clothes and you just sit on the floor whenever your tired. Since I had been running 13K the day before my feet were killing me. These fake Vans are seriously the most comfortable shoes I own at the moment. I don't think they will last long, but they are so cheap that everyday that I wear them, is another day longer then I expected them to last.
Well I'm counting the days to the first festival. I'm attending 3 festivals this year; could turn out to be more. But 3 is a nice start. And you? Are you going to any festivals?

I'm wearing:
Top: Primark | Jeans: Zara | Sneakers: Primark | Leather Jacket: Trish Summervill Dragon Tattoo Collection for H&M | BirdSkull Necklace: Fashionology | Rings: H&M | Bracelet: Lott Gioielli

The sun has returned! And I'm so glad! This is what I was wearing last Saturday. I know that this outfit is very similar to the last one (and not to alarm you... but I have shot my Sunday outfit, and yes... it's kind of the same. Sorry!). Well back to this outfit. I love to wear my leather leggings and sneakers on the weekend; I mean is there anything more relaxing than wearing a casual outfit, while strolling in the city with the sun shining?

I'm wearing:
Leather Jacket: Trish Summerville Dragon Tattoo Collection for H&M | Blouse: Primark | Leather Leggings: Zara | Sneakers: Primark | Scarf: The Grey concept for H&M divided | Necklace: Fashionology

Outfit: Dark at Easter

IMG_0147

What I was wearing last week during Easter. This post was supposed to be online much earlier this week, but I couldn't restrain myself in sharing the pics of the CreamPR bloggerevent with you. So Easter... very different to last year. See what I was wearing back then here! I was a little under the weather, so very uninspired that's what freezing cold weather and a actual cold does to me. Thank god that the sun has come back today. (Only thing is that I went out to shoot outfit pics the morning, and today's outfit has a lot of similarities with this one.... but you'll see that later).

By the way what do you think of my fake Vans? Got them at the Primark when I shopped the summer goodies which were on the blog earlier (here). The quality isn't great (duh! what can you expect for 8 euros... yeah you read that correct!) they are very comfy, but the sole shows traces of wear already. But perfect enough for one summer of festivals I reckon.

I'm wearing:
Leather Jacket: Trish Summerville Dragon Tattoo Collection for H&M | Jeans shirt: New Yorker | Scarf: The Grey Concept for H&M divided | Grey tee: Primark | Sneakers: Primark | Rings: H&M

Diary: All About March

Diary maart 1

That I'm no good with structure is a fact, this month I didn't post my diary posts every two weeks, like I was supposed to. So on now I'll give you a massive diary post on the whole month. Except for Berlin, because you've already seen that here!

Well the first week of March:
- It started great: shopping at the Primark! With my partner in crime Lieke!
- No I didn't turn 2 years old, I did however celebrate my 2 years at Reversz (the company where I work...) this month. Got this card from my co-worker, sweet!
- Yep, on the only day with great weather I ran; I did good!
- I did some baking! Yummy!

Diary maart 2

In the second week of March
- I went to the HEMA musical (Hema is a typical Dutch shop). It was so funny, since I used to work there for 6 years when I was still studying. The time frame of the musical was set in the time when I used to work there, so that was extra cool.
- It snowed even more this month... I'm getting depressed about this cold!
- I traveled to Berlin, more about that here!
- I received these great bracelets from SOYL, more about this on the blog soon!

Diary maart 3

In the third week:
- the man & I celebrated our 9th anniversary together. We went to movies.
- I made quiche for dinner, yummy!
- detail of one of my outfits. See it here!
- preparing blog posts; me in action!

Diary maart 4

This last week of March
- I was kinda under the weather, so when I finally had some energy I went to the city and got these cute rings.
- Easter brunch part 1!
- Easter brunch part 2; yeah my mum still makes me go egg hunting (I'm turning 29 this month.... seriously)
- Running! I went on run, but I wasn't better yet, so it kinda sucked. Well I lapped everybody who stayed on the couch... that is a fact. And I'm doing a challenge in April, from Girlslove2run, but more about that later.

Well this was the great March Diary post. Hope April will give us better weather, so I can run more often, won't get sick. And of course my B-day is coming up; so bring on April!

It's hard to believe that it's spring. But I have already bought some summer essentials! Budget style!
If you follow my instagram account (@amysfashionscrapbook) you could have seen my primark score (2 bags!) a few weeks ago. Well these are my first summer buys. And for the people out there who aren't (yet) a Primark fan, I'll show you the prices of these items:

Blue dress: € 6 | Bikini Bag: € 2,50 | Sunglasses: € 1,50 | 2 pairs of slippers: € 2,50 (yep for BOTH pairs)

Talking about a budget summer look! Well the only thing missing is the SUN!

Outfit: Belated Snow Storm

IMG_9943 IMG_9942 IMG_9955 IMG_9947

Typical: it's the first day of real sun and +15 degrees in the Netherlands, and I have a snow-storm outfit to show you! I have been so busy that I didn't have the time to post these; so I'm doing this now before work.
These pics where shot over a week ago, when the snow came back. I wore this freezing outfit. Safe to say that I didn't leave the house after these pics where shot!
By the way I got this dress in London, when I was shopping there last Christmas. What a steal for 7 pounds! The skull has some much detailing! Can't believe it took me 3 months to finally wear it!

Hope you have a chance to enjoy the sunny weather today!

I'm wearing:
Skull dip-end dress: Primark | Cardigan: Ichi | Leather Jacket: Trish Summerville Dragon tattoo for H&M | Boots: Zara | Beanie: H&M men | Half Gloves: H&M
