Order: Converse All Stars

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Oops, I've done it again. For somebody who doesn't buys shoes often I'm on a roll! Buying sneakers and more sneakers, which I can't wear to the office.... smart huh?
Well... I just clicked these all stars home, since they were so cheap, I couldn't restrain myself. They are just over 31 euros, that's such a good deal. There are also two other pairs of shoes coming my way, from the zara sale (something totally different). So stay tuned for that.

Sorry for the lack of updates by the way. I have been to the Best Kept Secret festival last weekend, and I kinda of underestimated how tired I would be. I really thougth that I would be blogging in the morning before leaving for the festival each day (yeah, I slept at home, since it was just a 20 minute bike ride away). Well more on the festival later this weekend.

In the mean time: you can find these Converse All Star Black Star Print Ox Trainers here

Happy Monday!

Featured: Streetstyle for AD Weekend

Keeping it super short today; 'cause I'm off to the movies with my man. But I couldn't resist sharing this pic with you guys. I told you that I was photographed for the Dutch newspaper AD (see that here!). Well I was in the newspaper last weekend.
Hope you are having a lovely lazy monday! Don't you just love these extra days off?

Event: Bloggersevent #CreamprDIY

amy

As I told you in my last post I traveled to Amsterdam last Tuesday to attend the bloggerevent at CreamPR. Here is my full report on this event.
(by the way: I want that coatrack in the background of this first pic!)

poseren streetstyle

I arrived in Amsterdam quite early to meet up with fellow blogger Tali from Rock My Heels. But before we had a chance to meet and greet, we were spot by a streetstyle photographer for the AD which is a Dutch news paper.

streetstyle

Afterwards we went grabbed a coffee and made our way to the venue. The bus was packed with bloggers, lots of people I recognized from the internet. Quite weird to all see them in real life.

bloggers will be bloggers

At the venue I met the lovely Jenny from RocknRoller, she is one of my favorite bloggers (check out her youtube channel by the way!) and lots of other bloggers. CreamPR had organized a great night, with lots of activities. I started of styling an outfit, of which you saw the photo's in my last post.

fashionology

Next up was creating a necklace at Fashionology. I choose the most lovely eagle-like pendant, with a blue stone in the center. Will show you in an outfit really soon. (Or go to my instagram account, and check the photo's @amysfashionscrapbook).

bloggers

van Haren

Next up was Van Haren. We got the opportunity to DIY a pair of heels. Since I'm not such a colourful person I choose to keep it simple.

winde rienstra en bloggers

We got the chance to ask Winde Rienstra questions. She is designer, with beautiful extravagant shoes. They are amazing. My last two stops were Hans Anders and Kiboots. Had lovely a chat with the people there, and checked out the new collections. Some great things are hitting the stores!

jenny tali en ik_2

At the end of the evening, a pic with Jenny & Tali. I'm looking so tired! Was thinking about not posting it, but I couldn't restrain myself. I had a great night, but I know that next time I'm not gonna go to the office for over 6h before I leave for Amsterdam.
Thanks to CreamPR for organizing a great night and take such good care of us (Food!!).

I was wearing:
Blazer: Zara | Black Tee: Cos | Grey Tee: H&M | Dogtooth Jeans: Asos | Shoes: Sacha | Bag: H&M trend

Diary: Busy Times

Iphone Amy7

February flew by! I have been so busy at work, and my weekends are jam-packed. That last thing is a good thing though. But because of that I spend today sleeping and watching re-runs of my favorite police series (yup, I'm a geek...) But that was today. What have I been uptoo the last two weeks?
- I have been making new plans for the blog and a little business, more on that later. This little notebook is now my partner in crime.
- Asos got brougth me something new! (Which you can see here!)
- New baking stuff from the Ikea. I went there to get new stuff for the house; in which we finally succeeded!
- My new bracelet from Brandy & Melville (You should check that store out!)

Iphone Amy8

My second week; it was even more busy.
- Drinking rice-milk. If you follow me on instagram you'll know that I try to eat nerdly healthy; so this a next step in that. (by the way: I still drink a lot of beer on the weekends)
- Moving day! This week my work moved to a new office. It's so weird to leave the place where I have spend 40+ hours a week for the last 2 years.
- The day after moving day, I had a whole day of process en project stuff with the big projectteam of all the companies involved. I love those kinds of days; this is my kind of thing.
- After this busy busy week, in which I worked too many hours, I thougth I deserved this jacket. So on my way home, just before the shop closed, I ran in and grabbed it. One happy girl! (esspecially when you see the price, it's friking cashmere!!)

Well I didn't have that many pics to choose from; all because of my busy lifestyle. But hye: there is just too many cool things to do in life :).
Speaking of that, I'm gonna get ready for  nice party. And tomorrow I'm off to Amsterdam.

Have you got some nice things planned?

Outfit: Always be Batman!

IMG_9975 IMG_9970 IMG_9973 IMG_9969 IMG_9964
Pictureoverload! Since I got so many comments and questions regarding the batman sweat I just needed to post this whole outfit now. (Eventhough I will be late for work now...)
Anyhow: the batman sweat, combined in a Amy-way. I'm wearing this urban-ish style quite alot these days; well on the weekends that is. I love big sweaters, my adidas kicks (they are so warm!) and a leather legging to create some edge to it. These leggings got ripped over Christmas (as some of you saw on my instagram account @amysfashionscrapbook) but I choose not to throw them away. They are old, but so comfy, and the hole makes it a litt;le more interesting if you ask me. (That I'm living on a budget has nothing to do with it ;))
So what are your thougths on the new sweat?
Ps: On a personal note: I just got my tickets for my 3rd festival for this summer! Seriously can't wait! Bring on festival season! Do you have some Summer plans already lined up?

I'm wearing:

Batman Sweat: Asos | Leather Jacket: Trish Summervill Dragon Tattoo collection for H&M | Grey top: Primark | Faux Leather leggings: H&M | Kicks: Adidas | Scarf: The Grey concept for H&M Divided | Beanie: H&M men

Picked it up at Asos while they had there Valentine's day discount. This sweat has been on my wishlist for like a month, couldn't find an excuse why I neede it. Well discount is the best excuse ever, don't you agree?
For you guys who missed the discountcode, make sure to like my facebookpage, I post the discountcodes I find on there!

Well TGIF! Have you got something nice planned?
I'm going to Gent tomorrow! All tips & suggestions, are welcome!

First outfit wearing my new Adidas kicks; I had already shot an outfit, but it never made the blog because of the bad quality of the photo's, due to bad weather. I was wearing this Sunday after my morningrun; some comfort for my tired body. Since my hair was wet, and tied back, you guys still have no idea about my new hairdo. Will show you soon! :)

I'm wearing:
Quilted Bomber Jacket: Dept | Quilted Sweat: ASOS | Long Grey Top: Primark | Leather Leggings: Zara | Zebra Kicks: Adidas | Scarf: H&M

Outfit: Comfy At Last

My last outfit post of 2012! Choose to share an outfit that is totally me: grey, comfy, bikerboots: me!
Something I would wear sale shopping (see that here). Today I have been making my 2012 recap, that'll be on the blog tomorrow. I'm waiting till the very last day of 2012 to air it, just so it feels extra special. :)
Back to the outfit, new is the quilted bomber that I got a sample sale. I wasn't sure if I should get it (the boy hates it!) but since the winter is so mild, it's the perfect jacket to run errands in. It shields me from the rain, has pockets and is so on-trend right now.

Tomorrow it's New Years Eve! Have you got something sepcial plannend? I sure have... still not sure what I'm going to wear. Tips anyone?

I'm wearing:
Quilted bomber jacket: Dept Denim Department | Sweater: Zara | Top: Zara | Jeans: Asos | Bikerboots: Zara

Wishlist: The Christmas List 2012

Yeah, I know: I'm late with my christmas wishlist! But time is just flying by! I can't imagine that we'll be cellebrating christmas in just a week! I have to start my christmas shopping. The boy and I did some shopping in London, so a few things on this list are already under my tree. Not telling you which ones just yet. One thing is sure: the Isabel Marant sneakers aren't under my tree yet; so this is my new tactic: ask cheap things, so that they only big gift on your list is that one designer item you want. Not sure if it will work though!

For now: what's on the list?
1 - Iphone Game Boy case - I used to have this old skool model game boy! (via Play)
2 - Isabel Marant sneaker - pure love (Via Mayke)
3 - Leather gloves (via H&M)
4 - OPI Jams Bond Live and Let Die (Via ASOS)
5 - Candle - perfect for my new house (Via H&M)
6 - Jamie's 15 minute meals - ideal for my busy life - (Via Bol)
7 - Geek Tee - love it! (Via Topshop)

Well had a great weekend, (follow me on instagram @amysfashionscrapbook to stay updated!) More on that later. For now: Enjoy your Sunday eve!

Outfit: Quilted & Dogtooth

Outfit I wore last Saturday; in the rain! The boy and me had a little hang over, so we choose to walk to our favorite coffee place, and relaxed there with a book.
I was wearing my new Asos outfit! Last week there was a discount code; so I clicked these pants and this quilted sweater home. A few weeks ago I went shopping with my boy, and he bought the most amazing grey quilted sweater; but then with leather patches. I told him we were gonna share it; but it was so big... and I wanted one for myself, so I found this perfect one on Asos. note: we are not planning on wearing it at the same time hahah.
The scarf i'm wearing  is from the Grey Concept from H&M, which I told you about earlier (see here). The scarf is 260cm long; it's great! I love scarfs that Ican wear as a blanket. Weraing it all the time at the moment.

All most weekend! Have you got something nice planned?

I'm wearing:
Quilted sweater: Asos | Dogtooth pants: Asos | Trenchcoat: Zara | Scarf: Grey concept by H&M divided | Sneakers: Converse | Bag: H&M

New in: Accessories

Received this cool necklace from ASOS last week; I love it.
The watch is not that new; I ordered it months ago, but was too lazy to get a battery put in.
Today my lovely BF got it done for me! He is such a babe! :)

Both items from ASOS.

Outfit: Ghost World

It happens quite often on the weekends that I dress myself and my BF goes: "Dude! You look like one of those chicks from Ghost World!"
I know this is far from a compliment; but there are worse things in life then being compared to Scarlett Johansson, right?! ;)
If you don't know what I'm talking about:
You see the resemblance? (Hope not!)

Well back to the outfit, I'm wearing:
Black Leather Jacket: Dragon Tattoo Trish Summerville for H&M | Grey Sweater: ZARA| Bodycon Dress: H&M| Studded Bikerboots: ZARA | Grey Bag: H&M | Skull Necklace: Fashionology | Cross Ring: ASOS

Outfit: Spring Fever

 The whole outfit.
I shot these pics on Sunday while the weather was still sunny; so I really thought spring was coming.
But of course the weather had to change for the worse again.
Leave you with this outfit to give you a hint of spring!

I'm wearing:
Yellow jeans: H&M | Grey & Mint Tee: Pull 'n Bear | Jeans Shirt: New Yorker | Grey Leather Bag: H&M | All Stars: Converse | Necklace: ASOS | Rings: H&M | Bracelet: V&D | Watch: DKNY

24.2.12

Outfit: Minty Tee

Bought this mint coloured tee last week. It's my first spring item; and I'm totally in love with it.
On the pics the colour is not so good visible, but IRL it looks so nice and soft coloured.
I love the long back part.

What do you think?

What I wearing:
Mint Tee: Zara | Leather leggings: H&M | Heels: H&M | Waterfall Cardigan: H&M | Necklace: ASOS | Sunnies: Ray-Ban

Outfit: Ultimate Chill

I think (& hope) that this is the last outfit post of this winter with snow in it.
The snow has faded away, and the temperatures are rising.
I'm wearing an ultimate chill outfit.
Chill in two ways: big knits against the cold and for ultimate relaxation.
Paired it up with my highest heels to upgrade the blanket-like cardigan I'm wearing.
'Cause my BF calls me a vagabond ("zwervertje") when I wear this cardigan with this big over sized scarf; but  I like it!

Have you got any plans for the weekend?
For the Dutchies: I live in the South of the Netherlands, so you guys can guess what I'm doing this weekend!

I'm wearing:
Big Knit Cardigan: Pull 'n Bear | Big Scarf: Bershka | Faux Leather Pants: Saint Tropez | White Basic Tee: Zara | Grey Basic Top: H&M | Platform Heels: H&M | Rose-Gold Necklace: ASOS
